Gel nails are a type of artificial nail. When compared to an acrylic nail it can look more realistic. They generally last 10 to 12 days before requiring maintenance and they take a little longer to do. Another advantage is that they don’t have that killer odor, which makes the service a little more pleasant.
There are two types of gel nails – “file-off” and “soak-off”. Please consult with your nail technician as to which one is right for you.
